Postgraduate students can legally change their student visa to a work visa in case they find an employer. The same student can continue his studies as a part time student. The classes will be from 6 PM to 9 PM or on weekends (depending upon university and course however)

Education System in Dubai

The education system in Dubai includes both public and private schools, with 90% of education being provided by private schools. The Ministry of Education is responsible for public schools in Dubai, while the private sector provides education to over 280,000 students from different nationalities and offers 17 different curricula.

The quality of education in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can vary, but there are strong schools available at every level.

English-speaking kindergartens are widely available in Dubai, with most of them located in the Jumeirah and Umm Suquiem areas.

The Ministry of Education oversees the UAE education system, including K-12 and higher education, while local governing bodies such as the Dubai Education Council and Knowledge and Human Development Authority also regulate education in Dubai.

UAE citizens can go to school for free all the way through college, but international students can only go to private institutions that do charge tuition fees.

Scholarships

Universities in Dubai offer attractive scholarships to meritorious students. Some of the scholarships require IELTS and some scholarships are without IELTS in Dubai and require English language proficiency. Student Accommodation

International students in Dubai have a variety of student housing options available to them. Some of the most popular places for students to live are KSK Homes Student Residence in Dubai Academic City, The Myriad Dubai in Academic City, and the housing that each university provides for its own students.

These student apartments have kitchens that are already set up, free on-site laundry, refrigerators, gyms, and shuttles to universities. Some of these communities are just for students and offer a safe and secure place to live.

Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) is a popular place for students to live, and there are a number of options nearby. The location of student housing also depends on the location of the university, with options available in areas like Silicon Oasis, Mirdiff, Rashidiya, JLT, Marina, Al Barsha, TECOM, Discovery Gardens, and Jebel Ali.

Prices for student housing in Dubai vary based on the type of accommodation and location, with monthly rents starting at AED 1,700 for a twin bedroom in a student building in Al Quoz Industrial Area. Single en-suite studio options are available starting at AED 4,000/month.

Criteria for Admissions

IELTS of 6.5* required for PG courses and 6.0* required for UG Courses.
IELTS waiver if a student scored more than 70% in 12th English. MBA Courses are the exceptions in that.

Post Study Work Visa

Clear passport copy passport should have validity of 6 months when applying for a Student Visa
Contact details in UAE (if available)
Parent/guardian’s name and nationality
Digital passport size colour photograph with white background.
Copy of tuition fees receipt for the current year and security
deposit receipt (if applicable)for the current year.
Copy of Visa fees receipt for the current year.
Completed medical insurance documentation (if arranged out with the University).
Student visa is granted for one year and is to be renewed every year.
Initially Student gets an entry permit to enter Dubai and then the visa is granted at the visa office of Dubai airport.
